Tulisoma 4th Annual Tulisoma South Dallas Book Fair and Arts Festival
Volunteer with Mocha Sisters Organization at Tulisoma

This is a reminder email about the upcoming 4th Annual Tulisoma South Dallas Book Fair and Arts Festival. With the event less than a month away the excitment is beginning to stir. Tulisoma have lots of exciting activities and speakers planned, and we hope you can come and be a part of this special weekend.

Come volunteer with MSO. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!! Without people like you this event would not be possible.

Also, if you know ANYONE (friends, family, associates) that you feel would be interested in volunteering for this event please let us or them know!

Since there is a large amount of volunteers, a MANDATORY kick-off meeting for committee members and volunteers on Tuesday, August 8th from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library, 1st Floor Dallas Rooms. This will allow you to meet everyone on the planning committee, get to know other volunteers, and answer any questions you may have about the event. Tulisoma Committee Members will also review descriptions of the volunteer placements so that you can become familiar with the event and your responsibilities. We are excited to be in the fourth year of this event and feel that it is a great way to highlight local and nationally known African American authors, local businesses, and entertainers.

Refreshments will be served at the meeting, so please let us know if you will be coming no later than noon, August 8th! We have to turn in a number to Tulisoma.

WE TAKE VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION VERY SERIOUSLY VIA POLL, EMAIL, FAX, ETC. SIGNING UP FOR VOLUNTEER WORK IS VERY IMPORTANT SINCE WE TURN IN A NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS TO EACH ORGANIZATION. PLEASE TO DO NOT REGISTER IF YOU DO NOT PLAN ON PARTICIPATING.

Send the shift and area you are interested in, name, address, day and evening phone to volunteer@mochasisters.org. We will then register you as one of Mocha Sisters Organization's volunteers at Tulisoma!
